WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A CHRISTIAN?

To be a Christian does not simply mean to be a religious person, baptized in water, or to profess membership in a particular religious organization. To be a Christian means to have surrendered one’s whole life to Jesus Christ by repenting and forsaking all sins. Repentance and faith in Jesus Christ is the key to becoming a Christian and remains the only way to peace and fulfillment in this life and in eternity.  The following scriptures can help to better understand what it means to be a Christian. John 14:6; Romans. 10:9; II Corinthians. 5:17

HOW CAN I BE SAVED?

Yes, we’ll ship your package anywhere that can accept deliveries.

Acts 4:12 “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved”. We are saved by believing in the atoning work of Jesus on the cross of Calvary.  Salvation is the key to escape from the great and fearful judgment of God ahead of mankind. God desires that all men should be saved and has made the following scriptural provisions for our salvation:

  • Accept that you are a sinner and realize that there is nothing you can do to make yourself worthy of heaven. Romans. 3:23; Titus 3:5
  • Repent of your sins. “…God now commanded all men everywhere to repent” Acts 17:30. Luke 13:3. Repentance is a change of heart that causes you to turn away from sins and turn towards God.
  • Believe that Christ died for your sins. I Corinthians. 15: 3, 4; Romans. 10:9-10
  • Confess your sins, forsake them, and accept Christ as your Lord and personal savior. John1:12.

WHAT IS ETERNAL LIFE?

Eternal life is the gift of God received when we repent of our sins and give our lives to Jesus Christ. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly, John 10:10. Every born-again person has eternal life in him/her. This life remains in the believer and is what he enjoys throughout eternity. It is a life without end with God.
